Our most favourite church so far which we have visited in Gloucestershire is the lovely little Church of St Peter - located in the Cotswolds village of Little Barrington on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire
border - to us this old church sums up everything that makes visiting England's village churches so delightful.
One of the specialities of some of Gloucesterhire's churches is their obvious need to possess exceedingly high spires - for instance the spire at Kemble's church is particularly high as is the impressive spire at Lechlade's St. Lawrence. If they do not have high spires then some of the churches make up for this by having quite high and beautifully constructed towers.
It certainly makes taking photographs rather difficult to say the least sometimes since often you cannot get far enough back to photo the whole church.
